Besides excavators, the PMCI drives with higher decrease ratios can be utilized on many applications: travel drives for cellular crawler cranes, crushers, system boom-lifts, soil compactors, pavers, etc. Because of the small and effective design that integrates motor and planetary gearbox on the PMCI models, the usage of expensive fully variable motors can often be avoided.
